In the midst of a disappointing offseason for the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry has found time to troll Jimmy Butler a little.

The Golden State Warriors have been left scrambling during this NBA offseason after LeBron James made the decision to join the Philadelphia 76ers.

Stephen Curry will likely go into another season without much help. Jimmy Butler is still recovering from his ACL injury, although he will reportedly be back in action by January.

In the meantime, team chemistry doesn’t seem to be too affected, as fans found out following Curry’s latest choice to troll Butler on Instagram.

Stephen Curry makes a joke about Jimmy Butler’s hairstyle

During his time in the NBA, Butler has tried out numerous hairstyles. The 6-time All-Star was rocking braids last season, and now he’s apparently decided it’s time for a change.

Butler posted a picture on Instagram that showed him getting rid of his locks, captioned, “Bye bye braids.” Curry was among the many who commented, writing, “This gotta be a Gemini curated situation.”

Butler has been known to experiment with his looks, often getting trolled for his choices. His ’emo hair’ phase was a source of much hilarity back in the day as well.

Curry clearly enjoys bantering with his teammate, and it’s a testament to the good relationship that the two superstars seem to share.

The Golden State Warriors have to keep Stephen Curry happy

All jokes aside, the Warriors are in a precarious situation going into the 2026-27 NBA season. After missing out on LeBron James, the roster leaves much to be desired.

The team has failed to maximize Curry’s greatness despite his advancing age in the last few seasons. If they cannot provide their superstar with adequate help, he may consider a move.

The greatest shooter of all time has been with Golden State his entire career. However, the allure of potentially winning one more championship might lead to him potentially leaving.

Golden State has to ensure they keep their biggest legend happy.
