Jason Cundy has suggested on talkSPORT (5:44pm, July 7, 2022) that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur should look at signing Youri Tielemans from Leicester City in the summer transfer window.
The former Chelsea and Tottenham defender made the comments about Spurs and Tielemans while discussing the speculation linking the Leicester midfielder and Manchester United this summer.
Tielemans has been linked with North London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham as well.
Well-known and well-respected journalist Fabrizio Romano told GiveMeSport this week that Arsenal want to sign the £120,000-a-week (SalarySport) Belgium international midfielder and are in contact with his agent.
Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge has said that Tottenham admire Tielemans, who cost Leicester £40 million in transfer fees (The Guardian).

Youri Tielemans suggested for Tottenham Hotspur
Cundy said about Tielemans on talkSPORT (5:44pm, July 7, 2022): “That next step up you are talking in and around top four, playing Champions League football. Spurs. Isn’t that the sort of player that Spurs should be looking at, that type?”
Stats
Youri Tielemans did not have the best of times for Leicester City last season, but he is a very capable midfielder who can hold his down in the middle of the park and can drive the team forward.
The 25-year-old made 29 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leicester last season.
The Belgian scored six goals and gave four assists in those games.
Tielemans has scored 18 goals and created 23 big chances in 120 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
