The only thing more frustrating for Liverpool supporters than a misfiring Darwin Nunez is a red-hot Sadio Mane.
Nunez cost the Reds a club-record figure of £85 million during the summer transfer window.
However, the Uruguay international has only managed one goal across Premier League and Champions League action since arriving on Merseyside.
And even that was against Fulham on the opening weekend of the Premier League season.
On the other hand, Mane, who left Liverpool in a £35 million deal [Sky Sports], is enjoying an excellent start to life at Bayern Munich.

How many goals has Mane scored this season?
So far, the Senegal international has netted seven times across all competitions [Transfermarkt], meaning that he’s got the same number of goals as Nunez and Mohamed Salah combined.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is confident in the South American coming good, claiming last night that the goals will come.
And honestly, they probably will.
But it’s still frustrating for fans of the Merseysiders that the player who Nunez replaced at the club is having a much better season than both him and even Salah.
Mane was never top dog at Liverpool under Klopp, because that was certainly Salah most of the time.
But his form this season, and the Reds’ performances without him, certainly indicate that he was a much bigger player than many people realised when he was on Merseyside.
