Now that the World Cup is over, the Arsenal transfer news is bound to hot up.
After all, January is only around the corner and the Gunners definitely need new signings ahead of their assault on the Premier League title.
One player linked to Arsenal is Fabio Miretti of Juventus.
The 19-year-old midfielder has been linked with a stunning £100 million double move to North London, along with teammate Dusan Vlahovic [CMW].
And although there’s possibly hope for Vlahovic, there’s probably none for Miretti now.

That’s because the Italian outfit beat Arsenal 2-0 in a friendly at the Emirates Stadium late last week.
Problem is, Miretti didn’t have a good game at all.
He could and should have been directly at fault for Arsenal scoring through Eddie Nketiah, who cut out the teenager’s crazy backpass but, with an open goal at his mercy, the Gunners hitman struck the outside of the post.
Yes, Miretti got away with it, but if this was his audition to impress Mikel Arteta, it was one he undeniably failed.
You could argue it’s only a friendly, and that’s true, but lapses of concentration are still lapses of concentration and Miretti’s gaffe really wouldn’t inspire confidence.
He could be a big player in the future but for now, Arsenal should look elsewhere.
