Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking Spurs defender Davinson Sanchez with Napoli.

Corriere dello Sport have reported that Napoli are looking to sign Sanchez from Spurs in the January transfer window.

The Italian club want a replacement for Kostas Manolas, who will leave for Olympiacos in January.

Spurs fans on Davinson Sanchez

As you can see from the tweets below, Tottenham fans are fine with the Colombia international leaving in January.

Well, some of them anyway.

What about Spurs do with Davinson Sanchez?

In our opinion, Tottenham should not sell Sanchez in the January transfer window.

Maybe at the end of the season, but, no, certainly not now.

Why?

Well, because Tottenham have had injury problems at the back, and there have been coronavirus issues.

Cristian Romero is out injured at the moment.

So, in our view, Spurs head coach Antonio Conte should keep hold of Sanchez for the rest of the season.

The 25-year-old is a good central defender who can still play an important role for Tottenham this season.

Sanchez has made six starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham so far this season.

The Colombian has scored one goal in those games.
