Napoli are interested in signing Davinson Sanchez from Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Italian publication have reported that Napoli are looking at Tottenham central defender Sanchez as a potential replacement for Kostas Manolas.

Manolas will leave Napoli for Olympiacos in January.

Tottenham should not sell Davinson Sanchez in January

In our opinion, Tottenham should not sell Sanchez in the January transfer window.

Yes, the Colombia international is not guaranteed playing time under head coach Antonio Conte.

But with coronavirus now rife, Tottenham simply cannot afford to be short on numbers.

Cristian Romero is injured at the moment as well.

So, in our view, Conte needs to keep hold of Sanchez until the end of the season.

Remember, Tottenham are very much in the race for the Premier League top four this season.

Moreover, Tottenham signed the 25-year-old for £42 million in the summer of 2017 (The Guardian).

In our view, it is unlikely that Spurs will get that much from Napoli in the January transfer window.
