Harvey White is a player who has excited Tottenham fans for some time, and the youngster was in fine form last night as the prospect scored two goals in Premier League 2.
Spurs took on Leicester City as the north London side claimed a 4-1 win away from home. With White on the scoresheet twice as the 20-year-old stole the show for Tottenham with two fine goals.
However, the pick of the lot came in the 42nd minute as White’s stunning free-kick gave Tottenham the lead against Leicester, and also sent social media ablaze with hype.
Indeed, the midfielder has been a key part of Spurs’ U-23 side this season. With White scoring four goals already for the north London side. And supporters are eager for the youngster to make the leap to the senior squad.
With Tottenham cruising in the UEFA Europa Conference League, there’s a strong chance that White could be given a chance by Antonio Conte, and his goal this week against Leicester will no doubt catch the eye of the Italian.
Whilst the Italian isn’t too keen on bringing youth players from the academy, Spurs’ situation this season could see Conte hand some young players a chance.
