Anthony Martial is now in talks to leave Manchester United this summer after almost nine years at Old Trafford, sources have told HITC Football.
There were claims that the Frenchman had become the latest player to be exiled by Erik ten Hag after he was seen training alone, and while his agent – Phillipe Lamboley – has since moved to deny those rumours, HITC Football understand that a summer departure is currently being negotiated.
So, what is the situation involving Anthony Martial at Manchester United? Let’s take a look…

Well, the France international has been at Old Trafford since arriving in a £36m deal from Monaco back in September 2015.
Martial has made a total of 317 appearances – scoring 90 goals while also providing 55 assists.
Now – however – sources have told HITC Football that the Manchester United No.9 is currently in talks with other clubs about a summer move, with his contract set to expire in June.
HITC Football understand that Manchester United were recently in talks with the Saudi Pro League and clubs in Turkey about Martial, although it was made clear to interested parties that an exit will not happen this month.
No problems between Anthony Martial and Erik ten Hag
In regards to rumours about the 28-year-old being banished by Ten Hag, those are false.
Martial is simply training alone to build up his fitness after an illness – no disciplinary issues have arisen whatsoever.
The aforementioned Lamboley told Sky Sports: “What is said about him is completely false. He was not excluded from the group and he has no problem with (Ten Hag). Anthony has been in Manchester for nine seasons and if he was not a great professional then he would not have been at the club for so long.
“He is simply going to undergo a small operation on his adductors, which he should have done for a while and which did not allow him to be 100% – so he will do it now.”
Lamboley added: “Anthony will not leave and will stay until his contract ends in June. Martial’s contract has the option of a further year but it is not expected to be taken up by the club.”
