Jamie Redknapp has said on Sky Sports Premier League (7:27pm, January 1, 2023) that there will be a fall-out between Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte and club chairman Daniel Levy soon.
The Sky Sports pundit made the comments after hearing Conte’s remarks following Tottenham’s defeat to Aston Villa at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Tottenham went down 2-0 to Unai Emery’s side at home.
Spurs made defensive errors and were dire for most of the game.
It was a truly bad performance from Tottenham.
After the game, Conte said that Tottenham need 13 or 14 strong players and need to invest in the team regularly to compete with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City for the Premier League title.
And former Tottenham midfielder Redknapp believes that cracks are appearing, adding that he thinks that there will be a fall-out between Conte and Levy.

Redknapp said: “I can see cracks certainly appearing, even Pochettino in the wings. I don’t feel this is going to end up in the way that it feels that it should do.
“I am a big Antonio Conte fan. I think there is going to be a fall-out pretty soon. I get that feeling.
Main objective for Spurs
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur’s main objective this season is to finish in the Premier League top four.
No one seriously expects Spurs to win the league title.
Now, of course, it would be nice for the Tottenham fans to at least challenge for the title, but we believe that as long as the North London club end up in the UEFA Champions League places, they should be happy.
