A Sky Sports reporter has got some Tottenham Hotspur fans praising him on Twitter.
The Harry Kane situation continues to rumble on and it remains to be seen where he’ll be plying his trade beyond the summer transfer window.
Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo left him out of Sunday’s win over Manchester City, amid speculation of a move to Pep Guardiola’s side, and the 28-year-old hitman is not expected to travel to Portugal for their Europa Conference League clash on Thursday.
The Sky Blues have reportedly bid £125 million for the England international but even with Tottenham wanting around £150 million, Sky journalist Kaveh Solhekol has claimed even that isn’t enough for somebody of Kane’s talents – and here’s how some Lilywhites supporters responded on Twitter:
The sooner this is finalised one way or the other, the better it is for both clubs.
This has been dragging on for a lot of the summer and although Tottenham beat City without him this past weekend, the uncertainty can’t be healthy in spite of that victory.
Some pundits have questioned whether he’s even worth £150 million but 33 goals and 17 assists in all competitions last season underlines Kane’s importance and being in the prime of his career, he’s easily worth it.
