Both Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland are said to have been interested in the Peterborough United defender.

Some Sheffield Wednesday fans are reacting on Twitter to reports that Peteborough United’s Jack Baldwin is heading to Sunderland.
Both Wednesday and Sunderland are said by Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony to have shown an interest in Baldwin this summer.
But according to the Sunderland Echo, the centre-back is due to undergo a medical at the Wearside club on Friday.
Baldwin’s position is one that was prioritised by Sheffield Wednesday boss Jos Luhukay ahead of the new season.
The Owls, however, are yet to add a single new face to their side, despite there being only eight days to go until they open their campaign at Wigan.

The focus at Hillsborough has been very much on outings rather than incomings this summer, as the Yorkshire side strive to remain FFP compliant.
And there’s a consensus among the Wednesday fanbase that believes that while their club might well have shown an interest, they were never truly in for Baldwin, who could partner former Owls captain Glenn Loovens if he moves to Sunderland.
This is what they’re saying…
Would the seemingly Sunderland bound defender have been a good addition for Sheffield Wednesday?
