The 28-year-old is said to have been watched by Rangers as part of Steven Gerrard’s quest to bring a left-sided centre-half to Ibrox.

Rangers have had Mark Beevers watched as part of Steven Gerrard’s quest to bring a left-sided centre-half to Ibrox, according to the Daily Express.
The Bolton Wanderers man is reportedly viewed as a potential alternative to Rangers targets Curtis Tilt and Jake Cooper – the latter of whom effectively replaced Beevers at Millwall.
And with his contract expiring at the end of this season – like that of Blackpool’s Tilt – Rangers could have more luck with Beevers than they’ve had with Cooper.
But would the 28-year-old make a good addition for Gerrard’s side? This is what Bolton fans are saying on Twitter…
Born in Barnsley, Beevers came through the academy at Sheffield Wednesday, for whom he made 157 appearances before switching to Millwall in 2013.
But after three impressive campaigns for the Lions, the former England Under-19 international was lured to Bolton on a Bosman free transfer.
Should Bolton cash in if Rangers do come calling?
