Rangers are said to have had Beevers watched as Steven Gerrard looks to bring a left-sided centre-back to Ibrox.

Rangers’ hopes of bringing Mark Beevers to Ibrox could soon be boosted by a seemingly imminent arrival at the centre-back’s current club.
The Daily Express reported on Monday that Rangers had Beevers watched during Bolton Wanderers’ friendly draw with Girona on Saturday.
The 28-year-old is the latest player in his position to be linked with a move to Steven Gerrard’s side, after Jake Cooper and Curtis Tilt, of Millwall and Blackpool respectively.
And Bolton could struggle to resist any Rangers attempt to prise Beevers away from the Macron Stadium, after the Yorkshireman entered the final year of his contract there.

But the Trotters may be even more inclined to part with Beevers if a deal for Marc Wilson goes ahead, as expected.
According to the Bolton News, Phil Parkinson’s side are currently putting the finishing touches on a deal to sign the former Sunderland utility player, who has spent the bulk of his career in the alleged Rangers target’s primary position.
And while the report suggests Wilson is arriving as a direct replacement for Derik Osede, who is one of two centre-backs to have already left Bolton this summer, the Championship outfit have also checked out Jack Hobbs on trial.
Should one or both of those arrive then Rangers could be in business.
