Arsenal drew 0-0 with Brighton and Hove Albion to bring their winning run in the Premier League to an end.

In a tense affair down on the south coast. Mikel Arteta’s side struggled massively against the Seagulls, who have started the season in brilliant form.

A win for Brighton would have seen Graham Potter’s side climb to the top of the Premier League table alongside Chelsea. Yet despite plenty of chances, Arsenal stood firm and were able to see the game out with a draw.

Indeed, it was a game that was for the backline as the Arsenal attack hardly got going. Martin Odegaard had his worst performance for the Gunners in some time. Whilst, Emile Smith Rowe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were also ineffective for the visitors.

However, for Ben White, it was a massive occasion for the young defender. The centre-back returned to his former club where he had established himself as one of England’s top prospects in the position.

And the 23-year-old was again impressive. The summer signing kept a third clean sheet in four games for the Gunners alongside Gabriel Magalhaes
