Arsenal legend Sol Campbell posted ‘still invincible’ on his Instagram story after Liverpool beat Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday at Anfield.

The Premier League champions went into the game, the only side unbeaten this season and looking to close the gap to Arsenal at the top of the table.

But it seems as though, in Campbell’s mind, he just wanted Liverpool to beat Pep Guardiola’s side, so Arsenal could remain the only team in the modern-era to be ‘invincible’.

CAN ARSENAL WIN THE PL TITLE?

Man City have broken many records under Pep Guardiola, including being the only side in English football to post 100+ points.

But remaining unbeaten over the course of the campaign is something only Arsenal fans can sing about loudly and proudly.

Those were the days when the London club, under the stewardship of Arsene Wenger, had an all-powerful and conquering side.

Since then, they have gone through a lot, both on and off the pitch, including the departure of their greatest-ever coach and a stint out of Europe altogether.

But are things now starting to pick up?

Well, sitting top of the Premier League table after ten games and with only one defeat to their name, which is their best-ever start to a season, suggests so.

Mikel Arteta has been through the lot in that Emirates Stadium dugout, but, not since the mid-2000s, have Arsenal fans genuinely felt that they could become champions again.

Great clubs always rise again, it took Liverpool 30 years, and the Gunners are heading towards that direction, but just like Jurgen Klopp did, they may have found that guy to guide them back on that path.
