Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting after Bukayo Saka finished sixth in the ranking for the Kopa Trophy.
The Kopa Trophy is the Ballon d’Or’s equivalent of the Golden Boy award, it celebrates the best U21 footballers on the planet, and in its inaugural year, Saka finished sixth.
Sixth is a more than respectable finish, and it just goes to show how talented the Arsenal star is, but, as ever, Gunners fans have found a reason to complain.
Indeed, the Emirates faithful believe that Saka should be ranked higher than sixth, while some had a real issue with the fact that Mason Greenwood was placed ahead of him.
To be honest, we can see where they’re coming from Saka has been a star for Arsenal and England over the past 12 months, and while Greenwood has been impressive, it’s not unreasonable to suggest that Saka has been better.
