Former Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck is off for the season as the Brighton and Hove Albion star bagged his first goal of the campaign.
The ex-Emirates Stadium hero was on the scoresheet for the Seagulls as Welbeck scored the second goal of the afternoon at the Amex Stadium against Leicester City.
The 30-year-old attacker joined Brighton from Watford last season. And Welbeck impressed in his debut year for the south coast side. With the striker finding the net six times in all competitions.
Welbeck might have left Arsenal in 2019, but the Manchester-born forward has always retained a spot in the hearts of many supporters. The striker was a fan favourite in north London ever since he joined in 2014.
Indeed, his goal against Leicester in the 2015/16 season is one of the most iconic last-minute goals Arsenal have scored in the Premier League era, and Welbeck also managed to find the net against the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham.
As you would expect, Arsenal fans on social media loved that Welbeck scored another goal against Leicester, this time for Brighton.
