The West Ham United manager was in bullish mood following his side’s impressive win yesterday.
During an interview with the club’s official website, Hammers boss Slaven Bilic hailed the quality of his side’s performance during their 3-1 win over Southampton yesterday, calling the result an extremely important one.
West Ham jumped back inside the top half of the table with their impressive victory, and now sit in ninth position in the table, just nine points adrift of seventh placed Everton.

Bilic’s men have actually been on a fine run of form, despite the odd poor result, and have won six of their last nine Premier League outings.

“It was a good away trip. They have played some good football this season and started the game one point below us, so it was one of those for both of us that was a six-pointer. It’s extremely important at this stage of the season because all the crazy results have started to happen. We have to approach every game like it is our last game and, with a little bit of luck, we can continue to play like this or even better and we will be OK.”
