West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has written in The London Evening Standard that he does not want Sofiane Feghouli to leave the club.

Much was expected of the 27-year-old winger when he arrived at the London Stadium, but the Algeria international has failed to deliver.

The midfielder has been able to make only 10 appearances in the Premier League so far this season, creating only five chances in the process.

“It is fair to say that Sofiane has taken time to settle,” Bilic wrote in The London Evening Standard.

“He was injured in pre-season and was out for some time. Then he struggled to adjust but in the past seven or so weeks he has been training really well.

“I know there has been speculation that he could be leaving us in this transfer window but I certainly want him to stay.”
