Newcastle will take on London outfit QPR at home in the Championship on Wednesday evening.
Prutton believes that the Magpies will fail to win the encounter at St. James’ Park and will have to settle for a draw instead.

“Even though there were changes, every time a team loses in the manner Newcastle did at Oxford in the FA Cup, it will still have an impact,” Prutton wrote on Skysports.com. “It reflects on the club.
“The next team they put out must right that wrong, that performance and that result. I think it’s going to be tough for Newcastle against QPR. We’ve seen a lot of Ollie’s team, and the game against Burton, you’d have thought they would take three points.
“I think we’ll see a response from Newcastle with a change of personnel, but I think QPR are a tough task. Let’s go for a draw.”
A footnote added: “PRUTTON PREDICTS: 1-1.”

Newcastle are second in the Championship table at the moment with 58 points from 27 matches, just two points behind leaders Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Magpies’ recent form has been patchy, and they were knocked out of the FA Cup at the weekend.

Rangers will head into the match against Newcastle on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Burton Albion at Loftus Road in the league.
