Simone Zaza failed to make an impact at West Ham United and has moved to Valencia.
West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has written in The London Evening Standard that he is sad for Simone Zaza.
Zaza joined Premier League club West Ham on loan from Italian giants Juventus in the summer of 2016.
The Italy international striker was scheduled to remain at the London Stadium until the end of the season, but his loan spell was cut short.

Earlier this month, the 25-year-old striker left the Hammers to move to Spanish outfit Valencia on loan from Juventus.
West Ham manager Bilic has revealed that he is sad for Zaza and has explained why.

“I was a defender and I didn’t need a lot of time when I came to England but with strikers it’s different,” Bilic wrote in The London Evening Standard.
“Sometimes the physicality presents a different challenge and, of course, they need the service. Even Dennis Bergamp and Thierry Henry needed time.
“That is why I am sad for Simone Zaza. It didn’t work out here for him but he is a good player and I wish him well.”

Zaza was able to feature in nine Premier League appearances for West Ham this season before his move to Valencia. The Italian striker failed to score a single goal, but he did create eight chances.

The former Sampdoria man has played twice for Valencia in La Liga already, creating one chance in the process.
West Ham are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 28 points from 22 matches.
The Hammers will return to action on Wednesday evening when they take on Manchester City at the London Stadium in the Premier League.
