Leeds United have really struggled in the Championship of late.

Sky Sports pundit Danny Higginbotham was a guest on Sky Sports’ Premier League daily programme on Friday November 3rd, and delivered his verdict on the Whites’ faltering promotion push in the Championship.
Leeds have really struggled over the last month or so, having led the Championship standings in September, and are currently in the midst of a woeful run that has seen them lose five of their last six league outings.
Thomas Christiansen’s men now find themselves sitting in seventh spot in the table, nine points adrift of league leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers, although there is still 31 games to be played.

“If Leeds get the first goal, more often than not they go on to win the game, they are a very good counter-attacking team. You could argue that they are actually a better team away from home, playing on the counter-attack. I think Christiansen needs to alter some things because they can be quite predictable.”

Next up for the west Yorkshire outfit is a trip to London to take on 15th placed Brentford in the Championship tomorrow, and Christiansen will be expecting his side to bounce back immediately.
Following the game at Griffin Park, Leeds will be out of action for two weeks due to the international break, and all three points against the Bees will make that fortnight a much more pleasant period of time for the Whites.
