The Newcastle United ace could be a useful addition to the Leeds United squad.

Whites boss Thomas Christiansen has a lot of work to do at Elland Road, despite his side’s respectable start to their 2017/18 Championship campaign.
Leeds currently sit in in sixth position in the table at the time of writing, after a return of 23 points from their opening 15 league games.
There does seem to be a lack of a physical edge in the west Yorkshire outfit’s engine room, however – something that has proven to be detrimental to their chances of winning tough away games.

With this in mind, Christiansen will surely be prioritising the signing of a highly-energetic midfielder in January, and a useful option for them could be Magpies ace Jack Colback.
The 28-year-old has been jettisoned from the Newcastle first-team setup this season, having been told that he is not part of Rafa Benitez’s plans, and he is currently training with the club’s under-23’s.
Colback would be ideal for Leeds, what with his tireless work ethic, competitive nature, and 100 per cent commitment to the cause.

The former Sunderland man is an intelligent footballer, and possesses an impressive array of passing – something that would undoubtedly help the Whites improve upon the fluidity of their play.
And if Christiansen does in fact manage to bring Colback to Elland Road, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Leeds.
