Ibrahima Konate has told Fabio Carvalho to ‘show them’ after Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool decided to send him out on a season-long loan to RB Leipzig.
The 20-year-old only joined Liverpool last summer after he helped Fulham earn promotion to the Premier League, but he struggled for form and game time during his debut campaign at Anfield.
It didn’t help Fabio Carvalho that the team itself, with or without him, was declining, so it made his integration into the team tougher than others have found it over the years.

Nonetheless, when RB Leipzig announced on Instagram that they have brought in the playmaker for the season to ‘strengthen our offensive power’, they received a response from Ibrahima Konate.
The France international simply posted in the comments section ‘show them’ added with a number of exclamation marks and the eyes heart emoji.
Konate knows full well what it’s like putting on the Leipzig shirt after he moved to Merseyside from the German side, as Carvalho will be hoping to impress in his own way.
Carvalho’s time to shine
This is where the rising star needs to prove his worth and come back in 12 months ready to fight for a starting spot in Liverpool’s team.
The Bundesliga is a great playground for Carvalho to build his game up and progress to the next level by producing match-winning performances for his new team.
At Anfield, with the arrival of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Hove Albion, added to the rumours that Dominik Szoboszlai is joining from RB Leipzig, then it was only going to push Carvalho further down the midfield pecking order.
