Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise on Ozan Kabak, following the 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid last night.

The 21-year-old was starting his third Champions League game for the Reds, and gave a very good account of himself against Zinedine Zidane’s men.

As WhoScored shows, Kabak made one tackle, one interception and one clearance, as well as three blocks against Los Blancos.

The 10-cap Turkey international also completed four successful long-range passes from an attempted six.

Kabak ended the night with an 87.5% passing accuracy, which isn’t too bad at all.

He had one scary moment following an under-hit back pass to Alisson Becker, although he luckily got away with it.

However, for a 21-year-old, against arguably Europe’s biggest side, Kabak did himself proud.

He very much seems like a potential star of the future, and has been getting better and better with each game following his loan move from Schalke 04.

The Athletic’s David Ornstein revealed that Liverpool will try to sign Kabak for less than the £18 million wanted by the Bundesliga club.

On the basis of his display last night, Liverpool would be foolish not to sign such an impressive prospect, especially for under £18 million.

Let’s see what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have said about his performance…
