Sheffield Wednesday have been linked with a move for the former Brentford captain.
Sheffield Wednesday fans are urging their club to ‘go get’ Harlee Dean after a report by West London Sport claimed the former Brentford captain would cost £2 million plus add-ons.
Dean is in the final year of his contract at Griffin Park and is said to be waiting on offers from other clubs before committing to Brentford’s terms – which has led to him being stripped of the armband by manager Dean Smith.

Wednesday are among those linked with a move for the 26-year-old as they seek to add to their threadbare back line, with The Sun reporting on Thursday they had submitted a ‘new’ bid of £1.5 million to Brentford.
And having reportedly offered double that amount for Cardiff City’s Sean Morrison earlier in the summer, Carlos Carvalhal’s side should be able to meet the Bees’ alleged asking price – assuming they are indeed keen.
Dean impressed against the Owls last season, scoring in Brentford’s 2-1 win at Hillsborough, and Wednesdayites have seemingly seen enough.
Here’s what they’ve been saying about the news on Twitter.
