Leeds United are one of Sheffield Wednesday’s fiercest rivals.

Sheffield Wednesday fans are reacting to reports linking the Owls goalkeeper, Keiren Westwood, with a move to Leeds United.
According to the Daily Mirror (December 11, page 53), Westwood is ‘set to join’ Leeds on a free transfer.
The Republic of Ireland international has found himself frozen out since the arrival of Jos Luhukay as Wednesday manager, but made his first appearance of the season at any level on Monday, playing 45 minutes for the Owls’ Under-23s in a 2-2 draw at Crewe Alexandra.
It prompted some fans to speculate about a potential reprieve for Westwood, although with his contract up at the end of this season – and thought to make him one of Sheffield Wednesday’s highest earners – a January transfer is far from unlikely.
But what would those of an Owls persuasion make of Westwood leaving for Leeds – their rivals from across Yorkshire?
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
Westwood was named player of the year in half of his four full seasons on Sheffield Wednesday’s books, and made the Championship team of the season for 2014-15.
Leeds have been left short in the 34-year-old’s position, after Jamal Blackman’s loan spell was prematurely ended by a broken leg last month.
