According to a report by the Athletic, Sheffield United do not plan to even entertain any bids for Sander Berge, who has been linked with a deadline day transfer to Arsenal.
The Chronicle claimed on Tuesday that Mikel Arteta’s side were interested in signing the Norwegian international.
Furthermore, even Liverpool were seemingly keen on signing the 24-year-old, as recently reported by the Athletic.
However, it seems Arsenal as well as the Reds could be set for deadline day heartbreak when it comes to the prospect of signing Sander Berge.
No deadline day bids to be accepted for Sander Berge
This is because the Athletic have reported that Sheffield United will not accept any bids for Arsenal target Sander Berge, who has been speculated with a deadline day switch in the past couple of days.
Further details suggest that a whole host of teams in the Premier League have made enquiries to sign the talented midfielder, with no bids deemed as satisfactory by the Championship side.
CEO Stephen Bettis and the Sheffield United held conversations ahead of deadline day about not entertaining any bids for Arsenal target Sander Berge.

The player himself is believed to be happy at the club, who seem destined for promotion next season.
Power move from the Blades to keep Sander Berge
Once again, the Norwegian has played a key role in the club looking dead set to make their return to the Premier League in 2023.
As a result, a deadline day move for Sander Berge, once deemed as the ‘complete midfielder’ by Chris Wilder (via Norwegian newspaper Verdens Gang) would have been excellent business for any club before Sheffield United decide to decline any and every potential bid.
With the Blades 12 points clear at 2nd place, it is impressive to see that they have been able to hold off interest from potential suitors to keep the influential midfielder around till at least the summer.
