Shaun Wright-Phillips has praised Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on The Kelly & Wrighty Show.
The former Manchester City and Chelsea winger believes that Hojbjerg is one Tottenham player who plays consistently well.
The Denmark international midfielder moved to Tottenham from Southampton in the summer of 2020.
As reported by Sky Sports, Hojbjerg was Jose Mourinho’s first signing at Tottenham and cost £15 million in transfer fees.

Wright-Phillips said about Hojbjerg on The Kelly & Wrighty Show: “Hojbjerg, especially, consistently plays very well. He breaks up play, plays a simple pass, lets his attackers kind of get on with it.”
Big player for Antonio Conte
In our view, Hojbjerg is one of the best players at Tottenham and is one of the first names on the teamsheet for head coach Antonio Conte.
As Wright-Phillips notes, the 26-year-old midfielder does not try anything fancy and does job job quietly in the middle of the park.
Hojbjerg breaks up plays and makes the right decisions when he has the ball.
Now, of course, we are not saying that Hojbjerg is among the best central/defensive midfielders in the Premier League, but he is of Premier League quality and is a key figure at Spurs.
For Tottenham to finish in the Premier League top four this season, in our opinion, Hojbjerg will have to be in top form in the final weeks.
