Ian Wright has said on The Kelly & Wrighty Show that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has changed under head coach Antonio Conte.

The Arsenal legend has noted that Kane was not himself in the opening months of the season and was struggling to score goals for Tottenham.

It followed the striker’s reported desire to move to defending Premier League champions Manchester City not being fulfilled.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy refused to sell Kane to City.

BBC Sport pundit Wright has now pointed out that Kane is back to his best under Conte.

Ian Wright on Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane

Wright said on The Kelly & Wrighty Show: “You could see his body language on the pitch, the way he was walking, the fact that he was not scoring the goals, he didn’t look sharp, he didn’t look quick, he didn’t look like he was at it. It (now) looks like that the Harry Kane we know, going into tournaments, scoring confidently, and playing really well, leading his team from the front.”

Back to his best

In our opinion, Kane is back to his best for Tottenham under Conte.

The former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss is getting the best out of the striker, who is banging in the goals for fun at the moment.

The Tottenham no. 10 has scored 12 goals and provided three assists in 26 Premier League starts so far this season.

For Tottenham to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, in our view, Kane will have to at the top of his game in the final weeks of the campaign.
