Hamilton was in control of the race and looked set to win it, and with it the Formula 1 title.

Again.

However, the safety car was called upon in the final stages of the race, which restarted with one lap to go.

Red Bull’s Verstappen, who was on fresh tyres, went on to win the race and the world title ahead of Mercedes’ Hamilton.

Leeds United’s Luke Ayling not happy

Leeds defender Ayling, who earns £35,000 per week (Salary Sport), is furious with what happened in the race in Abu Dhabi.

It was one of the best F1 races of all time, and the dramatic finale just summed up how great this year’s championship race has been.

Hopefully in 2022, it will be just as exciting, if not more.
