Sevilla are interested in signing Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe in the summer transfer window, according to Super Deporte.
The report in the Spanish news outlet has claimed that Sevilla have sounded out Arsenal over a deal for winger Pepe.
Sevilla are willing to sign the Ivory Coast international winger, as long as Arsenal do not have ask for an ‘exorbitant’ sum of money, according to the report.
Super Deporte have added that Sevilla could use Argentina international winger Lucas Ocampos in the deal.
Sevilla’s Nicolas Pepe interest encouraging for Arsenal
In our opinion, Sevilla’s reported interest in Pepe is very encouraging for Arsenal.
That’s because the Gunners are trying to offload the 26-year-old Ivory Coast international winger in the summer transfer window.

The Sun reported last month that Arsenal are willing to sell Pepe for £25 million and get his £140,000-a-week wages off their books.
West Ham United have been linked with the winger, who cost Arsenal £72 million in transfer fees when they signed him from Lille in 2019.
The winger has struggled at the Gunners, and, in our view, a move to Sevilla could work out for all three parties.
If Sevilla are not willing to pay £25 million for Pepe, then maybe Arsenal should try to do a loan deal and get the La Liga club to pay his wages in full for next season.
