If you’ve been watching WWE for the last few years, you’ll be well aware that ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio is one of the most entertaining characters on television.
After turning heel against Edge and his father on the same night, Dom has gone from strength to strength and alongside Liv Morgan, effectively leads the Judgment Day.
Such has been Dom’s rise up the ranks and impressive heel work that he’s at the stage now where fans are cheering for him to win, much like Stone Cold Steve Austin back in the late 90s.
Of course, one of the best heels – and faces – of the last few decades has been Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.
And according to Rollins, Dominik is doing everything right.

Seth Rollins says why he loves ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio
It’s clear as day that WWE are big on Mysterio anyway. His push to win the IC Title and his current reign with an AAA championship, coupled with his recent King of the Ring qualifier win, show how high up he is in their thoughts.
And Rollins, speaking on The Delivering Happiness podcast, revealed he’s also a huge fan.
“Oh man. What’s not to love about Dirty Dom? Did you know I gave Dom his first match in WWE, SummerSlam 2020, through Covid, nobody was there,” Rollins said.
“We had the Thunderdome we called it, so all the screens with people at home. It was Dom’s first match, a white meat babyface. This is Rey Mysterio’s kid, doing his best. So to see him doing what he’s doing now and be the most detestable character on television. I love it. He’s really come into his own you know.”
There are certain stars within WWE that you just know are going to be pushed to the moon eventually and get a WWE title run.
Dominik is one of those.
Quite when it will come, we don’t know. But given he is only 29, there is plenty of time for the younger Mysterio to climb the mountain and once he does, you can bet your bottom dollar that the WWE Universe will lap it up.
