One of the best players for Leeds United against Leicester City last week was Glen Kamara, and Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo was hugely impressed by his performance.

Leeds United got the better of Leicester City 1-0 away from home at the King Power Stadium in the Championship last Friday.

Georginio Rutter scored the only goal of the match in the 58th minute.

Glen Kamara started the match for Leeds.

The Finland international started as one of the two holding midfielders in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

And, as you can see below, Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo was impressed by the display produced by Kamara.

Kamra, 28, joined Leeds from Scottish Premiership giants Rangers in the summer transfer window.

According to STV News, Leeds paid Rangers £5 million in transfer fees for the 28-year-old.

Kamara was on the books of Rangers from January 2019 until the summer of 2023.

Wales international winger Matondo, 23, moved to Rangers in the summer of 2022.

Kamara was expected to be a huge success at Leeds, and he is doing quite well now.

The 28-year-old has made six starts and two substitute appearances in the Championship for Daniel Farke’s so far this season.

The Finland international has given one assist in those games.

Leeds United going strong

The win for Leeds United against Leicester City last Friday was a big statement.

Leeds are now third in the Championship table with 28 points from 15 matches.

The West Yorkshire club are seven points behind second-placed Ipswich Town, who have played 14 games.

Leicester are at the top with 39 points from 15 matches.

Leeds are still quite a way off Leicester and Ipswich, but the win last week shows that the Whites are very much in the mix for the top two spots in the Championship table this season.
