Ramon Vega has told BBC Sport that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy should sell Harry Kane in the summer of 2023.

The former Tottenham defender believes that it is now time for Spurs to cash in on Kane and rebuild the team with the hefty transfer fee that they will get from him.

Vaga made the comments after Tottenham won 1-0 against Manchester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League today.

Kane scored the only goal of the match.

The England international is now the all-time record goalscorer for Tottenham.

Kane is now a Spurs legend.

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy told to sell Harry Kane

Vega said about Kane: “He can actually walk away from Spurs now without any question and go to a potentially better platform where they can actually win medals.

“The player is a legend and he can do that anywhere else, but I think now he needs to win medals and then he’ll be a complete player by the end of his career.

“If I was (Spurs chairman) Daniel Levy I think it’s the best time now to sell him and really cash in and rebuild. Harry Kane is today, but we need to look for a future Harry Kane.”

What should Spurs do?

In our view, Tottenham Hotspur should not sell Harry Kane in the summer of 2023.

No way.

Yes, Kane has etched his name into the Tottenham history books now.

But, there is more to come from the striker.

He is in his prime and is showing no signs of slowing down at all.

Where will Tottenham find as good a striker as Kane now?

Would a world-class striker like Kane be willing to move to Spurs in the summer of 2023, especially if they do not qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season?

Moreover, would Antonio Conte stay on as the Tottenham head coach if Levy decides to sell Kane at the end of the season?
