Journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft has said that it is likely that after Bayern Munich sacked Julian Nagelsmann, he could be on his way to become the next manager at Tottenham Hotspur.
The 35-year-old, branded as ‘outstanding’ by Joshua Kimmich via Washington Post was shown the door at Bayern seemingly out of nowhere, especially as his side face Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-final in less than three weeks.

However, Tottenham Hotspur supporters have a reason to be delighted as renowned journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft has indeed tweeted that Julian Nagelsmann could well be on his way to N17 as their next manager.
Journalist drops Nagelsmann update amid Tottenham links
This is as exciting an update as it can get for Spurs fans as the German is one of the best tacticians in European football and has been since his incredible spell at RB Leipzig.
While things were not at their brilliant best for Nagelsmann at Bayern Munich, it would be silly to deny the issues with the squad at hand and how he has had to adapt to a number of shortcomings in terms of personnel.
However, leaving all these factors aside, journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft tweeted that Tottenham Hotspur could indeed end up hiring Julian Nagelsmann as their brand-new manager.
“Nagelsmann Tottenham…can see that coming,”
How should Tottenham fans feel about the German’s potential arrival?
As alluded to, the Lilywhites faithful should be all smiles.
While Tottenham fans may be slightly perturbed by the fact that manager Julian Nagelsmann too is partial to a back three, his style of football is easy on the eye, and if the journalist is proven right, he is much more tactically flexible than Antonio Conte.
With Nagelsmann having elevated unearthed gems into some of Europe’s most sought-after players at Leipzig as well, he would have no problem adapting to the current Spurs squad.
