Sean Strickland’s relationship with Donald Trump has shifted noticeably in recent months.
Once seen as one of Trump’s louder supporters within the fight game, Strickland is still open about being conservative. But his backing of the 80-year-old politician is no longer a given, especially after he raised concerns about foreign influence shaping American politics.
A key factor in that shift has been Trump’s support for Israel, which Strickland argues goes against an America First approach.
Now, just hours before UFC Freedom 250 at the White House, Strickland has again made Trump the focus of his public ridicule.
Sean Strickland takes aim at Donald Trump ahead of UFC Freedom 250

UFC Freedom 250 lands at the White House this Sunday, Trump’s birthday, but Strickland is not letting the moment go unremarked.
He posted pictures on X mocking a famous photo of Trump at the Western Wall, recreating the image by standing next to a random wall in the US with a plate on his head. The caption read: “Who did it better?”
It fits the stance Strickland has taken lately.
The timing is interesting as well. Strickland had hinted that his political views might have played a role in him not being invited to UFC Freedom 250.
Dana White pushed back on that idea, saying it was simply down to limited space rather than any sort of ban.
Even so, Strickland made an effort to be seen around the weekend events before the card, keeping himself part of the conversation despite not being on the official guest list.
