UFC Freedom 250 has already set itself apart from any other event the promotion has put on.
The card features just seven fights and will be held at the White House, making it a much smaller, but far more exclusive, affair than a typical UFC event. Instead of fans buying tickets, the approximately 4,000 seats will be filled by invited guests.
Those changes have already given the night a very different feel. Now, Dana White has confirmed another departure from the norm: fighters will have the chance to earn significantly bigger bonuses than usual.
Dana White says UFC Freedom 250 fighters can win around $1 million in bonuses

Speaking during Saturday’s UFC broadcast before the final faceoffs, White explained how the bonus structure will raise the stakes for fighters on the White House card.
He said: “There’s two bonuses. You can win the fight of the night and performance of the night, it’s like a million dollars, you win a million bucks. So, there’s big money on the line, high stakes, more people watching than ever before. The guys that ended up being on this card, it’s massive for them and their careers.”
It is another sign that the UFC wants this event to stand apart from any other card.
Earlier this year, the company doubled fight night bonuses and added extra pay for finishes, moves clearly aimed at encouraging more aggressive fights, and Freedom 250 has taken that even further.
For the fighters, it is a lot of pressure, but also a rare opportunity. A standout performance could be worth much more than just another win on their record.
