Celtic got back to winning ways on Saturday by reaching the next round of the League Cup.

Scott Brown has reacted on Twitter to Celtic’s League Cup win on Saturday.

The Hoops survived a bit of a scare to reach the next round of the competition by beating Partick Thistle 3-1 at Firhill.

At one stage it looked like a dreadful week for Celtic might get even worse, with Brendan Rodgers’s side already being dumped out of the Champions League in a game which saw linked-away defender Dedryck Boyata reportedly refuse to travel to AEK Athens.

But two goals in the final 12 minutes from Moussa Dembele and Tom Rogic helped see Celtic over the line after the hosts equalised with 15 minutes to go.

Here is how captain Brown reacted on Twitter to the victory – and how some fans responded:

Boyata’s future remains something of a mystery but Rodgers revealed afterwards that he still wanted to keep the Belgium centre-back – a revelation that didn’t go down too well with fans of the Parkhead side.
