Leeds will be heading into Saturday’s game without some of their most important players.
Indeed, Kalvin Phillips, Patrick Bamford, Liam Cooper and Rodrigo will all be absent from this game, but despite this, Chelsea fans still aren’t feeling confident.
The Blues have injury issues of their own in the centre of midfield, while Ben Chilwell’s absence at left-wing-back may cause issues.
Chelsea fans certainly feel as though that flank is vulnerable as they’ve been worrying about the effect Dan James’ pace could have.
James could be a problem
James could certainly be a difference-maker this weekend.
Yes, he’s not Leeds’ best player, but his sheer pace will cause any team issues, and with Marcos Alonso looking like the man who will line-up at left-back, James could have a field day against the ageing Spaniard.
Chelsea supporters are very concerned about the threat that James brings, and perhaps they’re right to be worried about the Welshman.
James has previously caused Chelsea problems. He netted on his Manchester United league debut against the Blues, and while he’s not been prolific so far for Leeds, there could be something of a perfect storm brewing this weekend.
