As Liverpool prepare to avenge their 3-0 defeat to Wolves on Wednesday night, Sadio Mane has said that Jurgen Klopp is the right man to lead them out of the mess they find themselves in.
While Trent Alexander-Arnold has said that the Reds ‘miss’ what the Bayern Munich superstar brought to the side, there remains a split of opinion amongst pundits such as Paul Merson and Phil Thompson about whether his exit led to the side’s significant decline.
Regardless of where one stands on the Sadio Mane debate, he has guaranteed that Liverpool will return to their brilliant best and that too under Jurgen Klopp, ahead of their upcoming clash against Wolves.
Sadio Mane sends Liverpool promise ahead of Wolves clash
After getting slaughtered 5-2 at Anfield against Real Madrid in the 1st leg of the Champions League Round of 16, the Merseyside-based side went on to draw 0-0 against Crystal Palace right after.
As Liverpool have their sights set on returning to winning ways against Wolves, Sadio Mane has told German outlet BILD that he believes Jurgen Klopp will steer them towards greatness once again.

“Liverpool will be back. I’m convinced they will overcome this situation. They had many injuries and tough tests but Jurgen Klopp is definitely the right man. He will lead Liverpool back up from this season, the players love him.”
Beyond just a Klopp issue
As Liverpool host Wolves at Anfield, it must be said that Jurgen Klopp, who Sadio Mane believes will lead them back to their glory days once again is also partly blame for the sea of problems they find themselves in.
But considering Fenway Sports Group (FSG) are reportedly shying away from a sale, whilst the squad needs major surgery and players are declining left, right and centre makes their current predicament a problem that stems even beyond the £305,000-a-week manager.
