Ryan Reynolds recently confirmed Wrexham’s next end of season party destination following on from the team’s trip to Las Vegas.

It’s been a fairytale journey for Wrexham since Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over the club back in 2020.

After narrowly missing out on promotion last season, the Red Dragons won the National League this year with a record 111 points. It means they will be playing in the fourth tier of English Football next year after a 15-year hiatus.

Wrexham celebrate their promotion in Las Vegas

To celebrate their success, the playing squad were recently treated to an all-expenses-paid end of season trip to Las Vegas, courtesy of Ryan and Rob.

The huge end of season party was initially teased by ex Manchester United and England goalkeeper Ben Foster, who joined Wrexham during their run-in.

“They’ve promised us a big deal, though, at the end of the season,” Foster told CBS Sports. “They’ve promised us a monster one at the end of the season. If we get promoted, they’re gonna take us away somewhere with a lot of flashing lights.”

Star striker Paul Mullin then confirmed the news, telling GQ: “So we’re off to Vegas. Ryan and Rob told us to leave our cards at home, they’re sorting the lot. They sent us a full itinerary just now. Part of me doesn’t want to go, I might be dead by the end of it. But I’d never go to Vegas by my own accord, so I’m buzzing for it.”

Footage of the Wrexham team enjoying their holiday in Vegas recently went viral.

At one point, Paul Mullin and midfielder Elliot Lee shared a picture they managed to get with former Jersey Shore star Pauly D, who now DJs in Vegas at Marquee.

Ryan Reynolds caught wind of the photo, and took to social media to joke that Wrexham’s next post-season trip will be a lot calmer.

Sharing the picture to his Instagram story, Reynolds wrote: “Next year, they’re going on a five-day meditation retreat in the Faroe Islands.”

Quite the change of pace!
