Well, Anthony Gordon to Newcastle United is looking like a done deal.
The Everton winger has been pictured at St James’s Park this afternoon after reportedly undergoing a medical on Tyneside, as covered by HITC Sport.
Gordon is set to join Newcastle on a £45 million agreement, making him the club’s second-most expensive addition of all time, behind Alexander Isak.
And logically, his transfer to the North-East could – and probably will – result in somebody moving out.
Ryan Fraser is, like Gordon, a winger and in all probability, he has already played his last game for Eddie Howe’s side.

Speculation linking him to Everton makes sense a thousand times over and the news of Gordon’s completed medical today will only push him closer to a Newcastle exit.
Even before this Gordon development, Fraser was clinging on at St James’s Park.
Three Premier League starts this season illustrates that he’s nowhere near a first-team regular.
Even without injuries, Newcastle have Champions League ambitions and talented as Fraser may be, he isn’t at the level required to play in Europe’s elite competition.
Prior to Gordon’s would-be arrival, Fraser has looked on borrowed time as a Magpie for a while.
And signing the Everton winger would be the final nail in his coffin in the North East.
