Ryan Clark shares new details about ESPN’s shocking firing of the NFL analyst.

On one hand, ESPN has handed Pat McAfee the biggest annual contract in network history. But many believe it has come at the cost of other employees’ jobs.

After all, ESPN recently announced a round of layoffs, which also impacted ‘NFL Live’ analyst and former player Ryan Clark.

Ryan Clark confirms he was ‘forced’ by ESPN to leave

Since joining the network back in 2015, Clark has slowly but surely established himself as one of the most beloved faces in the NFL space.

However, that didn’t stop ESPN from firing the 2009 Super Bowl champion during a segment of ‘NFL Live.’ TMZ Sports later claimed that Clark wasn’t forced to leave mid-show, but Clark has hit back at the wrong report.

“I wasn’t forced? I ask, ‘Should I be done now?’ The answer was, ‘Yes,” Clark wrote in a recent X post.

This confirms that Clark was informed in the middle of a commercial break that his services were no longer needed at ESPN.

Hiring and firing employees is a part of business, but handling them in an unprofessional manner can lead to fans loathing the network.

ESPN’s handling of the recent layoffs has certainly not sat well with fans as they are questioning whether they should continue watching the network’s shows with the same enthusiasm as before.
