Paul Merson has predicted in SportsKeeda that Marcelo Bielsa’s Marcelo Bielsa will lose against Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

Chelsea will take on Leeds at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League on Saturday.

Former Arsenal star Merson believes that the Blues will pick up all three points from the encounter.

The Sky Sports pundit has backed Chelsea to win 3-0 against Leeds.

Merson wrote on SportsKeeda: “This is a big game for Chelsea. They were poor against a West Ham side that wasn’t really going anywhere and have a few defensive issues to fix at the moment.

“Mendy has been absolutely outstanding so far but made a mistake against West Ham – Tuchel will just have to let it go at this point.

“Chelsea still have miles too much for Leeds, and they did give them the run-around last season.

“Leeds haven’t been major goalscorers in the Premier League this season and I think Chelsea will go back to keeping a clean sheet in this game.”

Chelsea favourites v Leeds United

In our opinion, Chelsea will head into the match against Leeds as favourites.

The Blues have the better team and are also at home.

In our view, Chelsea will be too strong for Leeds in the Premier League this weekend.

Yes, Tuchel’s side lost to West Ham United in the Premier League last weekend, but the Hammers are a strong team who are challenging for the Champions League places.

Moreover, Leeds have injury problems.

Rodrigo, Robin Koch, Patrick Bamford, Kalvin Phillips and Liam Cooper all are on the sidelines at the moment.

Now, of course, we know that Leeds can conjure up strange results, but we think that the match is Chelsea’s to lose.
