Spurs‘ Boxing Day clash with Crystal Palace has reportedly been called off due to a Covid-19 outbreak at the south London side.

According to Football London, the Premier League are set to postpone yet another Tottenham match after multiple new cases were confirmed in the Eagles camp.

Antonio Conte’s side have seen the most postponements out of any side in the Premier League this season, with this being the fifth match in total that Tottenham will now not play.

Spurs’ clash with Burnley was called off due to snow whilst their UEFA Europa Conference League match against Stade Rennais and two other Premier League games were postponed due to Covid-19, with Palace the latest match.

It is the fourth Premier League game that will not go ahead on Boxing Day, with Liverpool’s match against Leeds, Watford’s trip to Wolves and Burnley’s clash against Everton also being called off.

With more games across the EFL being postponed due to Covid-19, Spurs – Palace will likely be the latest game to suffer the same fate with an outbreak taking hold of the south London side.

And as you can expect, with such a high-profile game potentially being called off, Spurs fans on social media are fuming about the news.
