Roy Keane has said on Sky Sports Premier League (7:25pm, January 22, 2023) that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will not win the Premier League title this season, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will.
Keane was impressed by Arsenal’s win against Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
However, the former Manchester United star does not think that the Gunners will win the title this season.
The Sky Sports pundit believes that Manchester City will become the champions of England once again.
Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville is of the same opinion.
Roy Keane and Gary Neville on Arsenal v Manchester City title race
Neville said: “I don’t think they will go on to win the league. I think Manchester City will win the league.”
Keane said: “If I have to put money on it, I still think City.”
The pundit added: “I wouldn’t be that shocked if they do go to win it, but I still maybe sway a little bit towards Man City just for what they have done for the last few years and the strength in depth they have.”

Who will win the title?
Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 50 points from 19 matches.
Defending champions Manchester City are second in the standings with 45 points from 20 games.
The Gunners are doing extremely well at the moment, and the way they won against Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening shows that they mean business.
City do have the better squad, and in Erling Haaland, they have a world-class striker who could end up scoring 40 goals in the Premier League this season.
Pep Guardiola’s side are used to winning the title and have been in this situation, and that gives them the edge over Arsenal.
