Roy Keane has said on Sky Sports Premier League (7:11pm, August 7, 2022) that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are set for a brilliant season in the Premier League.
The former Manchester United star made the comments following Tottenham’s 4-1 hammering of Southampton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Sky Sports pundit has said that he knew that despite Tottenham conceding first to Southampton, they could come back strongly and pick up all three points from the encounter.
Roy Keane on Tottenham Hotspur
Keane said on Sky Sports Premier League (7:11pm, August 7, 2022): “You just knew yesterday they would come back, strength in depth, outstanding manager, there’s momentum at the club, obviously a lot of belief and confidence. I think Spurs are set up for a brilliant season.”

Title challenge or top four?
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur’s target in the Premier League this season should be to finish in the top four.
Now, of course, if things go well in the coming months and Liverpool and Manchester City are not too far ahead of them, then Spurs should certainly challenge for the title.
However, for now, Antonio Conte’s side should consider ending up in the top four of the Premier League table this season as a success.
Remember, Tottenham will also play in the UEFA Champions League, and the North London club will be determined to progress to the knockout rounds of Europe’s premier club competition.
