Tottenham have been pretty efficient and impressive with their summer transfer business so far, with three new faces joining Antonio Conte’s side.
With Spurs set to return to Champions League football next season, they need to bulk up their squad, with Conte seemingly targeting a relegated winger.
Dwight McNeil has popped up on the club’s radar as a possible signing, with 90min claiming that Burnley have received a number of enquiries about the 22-year-old, including from Tottenham, West Ham, Newcastle United and Everton.

Whilst the versatile forward suffered relegation to the Championship last season, with Premier League legend, Vincent Kompany, now taking charge, he also has admirers from other legendary figures.
Roy Keane claimed back in August that McNeil is a ‘big, big player’, who probably ‘lacks that real pace’ for the so-called bigger clubs to come knocking for him, but he made it clear that he likes what he sees, as he told Sky Sports.
“I am a big fan of him,” said Keane. “I am not surprised that clubs are looking at him. He probably lacks that real pace for the bigger clubs to take a punt on him. He plays week in and week out.
“Again, his stats, he can improve on his goals. But I really like him. He is a really good player and with the way Burnley play, his game is pretty simple. He is a fit lad. He was released as a young kid I think at Manchester United. He’s a big, big player for Burnley.”

MCNEIL SHOULD BE PLAYING PREMIER LEAGUE FOOTBALL
Well, McNeil’s now seemingly at a stage where the big boys are gunning for him, so they clearly see something beyond his pace.
One thing is for sure, he is too good to be playing in the Championship, even though the Burnley fans will want him to help them return to England’s top-flight.
The question remains whether he is good enough for a team like Tottenham – Conte’s side finished fourth last term and they are now in the Champions League.
Does McNeil push ahead of anyone at Spurs? No. Some would even argue he doesn’t even push ahead of Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn, both are back-ups and being tipped to leave this summer.
