Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson has identified Kjetil Knutsen as a potential alternative to Giovanni van Bronckhorst for the Ibrox club, according to The Daily Record.
What’s the story?
Rangers are looking for a replacement manager at the moment.
Steven Gerrard left his role at Ibrox and joined Premier League club Aston Villa this week.
Rangers are reportedly due to hold talks with former Ibrox star Van Bronckhorst this weekend.
However, according to The Daily Record, the Dutchman is not the only candidate for Rangers.
FK Bodø/Glimt manager Knutsen is another candidate.

The 53-year-old is reportedly a candidate for the Norwich City managerial job as well.
Rangers sporting director Wilson has been impressed by Knutsen.
FK Bodø/Glimt are at the top of the Norwegian league table at the moment with 55 points from 26 matches, five points clear of second-placed Molde.
The 53-year-old Norwegian has won 104 of his 213 games as a manager, meaning that he has a win percentage of 48.8.
KV Oostende boss Alexander Blessin is another manager Wilson reportedly admires.

Big decision ahead
It is never easy to appoint a new manager during a season.
Gerrard’s departure from Rangers so quickly came as a surprise.
Wilson and the rest of the Rangers chiefs have a big decision to make now.
Rangers are doing well at the moment and are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Gerrard has transformed Rangers into a force to be reckoned with, and the new manager has to maintain it.
